Child Care

Chenango County offers approximately thirteen nursery and preschool opportunities and seven Head Start Centers as well as several area after-school programs. There is also two center-based daycare facilities available. The Childrens Center in Norwich and New Berlin Day Care Services in New Berlin offer childcare services ranging from infant to children 12 years of age.

Most of the programs in Chenango County meet standards established by New York State through the Office of Children and Family Services. The Child Care Coordinating Council and the Chamber are both able to assist you in locating and evaluating child care options that best suit your family's individual needs.
