Nearly eighty runners braved the hills and valleys of Pharsalia Woods State Forest on Sunday, taking
part in the 2 nd annual Chobani Chamber Challenge 5K and 10K trail runs.
In the 5K Women’s division, Kaitlyn Lioselle placed first with a time of 28:45.20; Danielle Slate was
second at 31:49.31; and Susan Whitney was third, clocking 33:26.25. The 5K Men’s race was won by
Jeff Rudy who completed the out-and- back course in 27:28.41. He was followed by Robert Nolan at
29:05.50; and Tom Whitney, 32:55.84.
In the hilly 10K race, the fastest woman finisher was Sandra Randall with a time of 48:38.82, followed
less than 5 seconds later by Sonya Houston at 48:43.51. Kelly Small, 51:33.45, was third. Among the
men, Zach Meyers finished in first place with a time of 45:12.16; Lucas Stone was second at 45:28.83;
and Adam Aldrich came in third at 46:56.77.
In addition to title sponsor Chobani, which supplied yogurt and yogurt drinks to the runners, C&M

the event. Special thanks to the Pharsalia Fire Department for traffic control, and to race volunteers
who provided on-course directions, help at registration and staffed water stations. Other sponsors
