Chenango County plays host to numerous annual events and festivals drawing thousands of spectators. The speed of the World Championship Motocross, or the endurance of the General Clinton Canoe Regatta, top notch entertainment at the Chenango Blues Festival, the color and pageantry of the Sherburne Pageant of Bands, and the beauty and talent shown at the Colorscape Chenango Arts Festival are all a part of Chenango’s legacy. Imagine if you will, over 30 basketball courts up and down the main streets of town while 1600 players from the ages of 6 to 60 participate in the Gus Macker 3-on-3 Basketball Tourney. Or, the sight of 700 jack-o-lanterns all lit up in one place at the Annual Norwich Pumpkin Festival.
